support for your unique needs.

Today, Albertans have more freedom and power to choose their home care provider thanks to Alberta Health Services' (AHS) Client Directed Home Care Invocing (CDHCI) program. The CDHCI program increases options available to eligible home care clients, including greater choices in home care agencies and input on how their care is delivered.

Compassion Network Home Care has been an approved vendor for Client Directed Home Care services since the pilot program launched in the Edmonton Zone in 2018. We currently service both Edmonton and Calgary areas under this program.

Are you unhappy with your current AHS provided home care? Are you wondering if there is an alternative? Here are some reasons to switch to CDHCI:

  • You get to choose your home care provider
  • You have more say and control over your home care services
  • More options for cultural and language preferences
  • Longer, quality time spent during each visit

For more information or to enroll in the CDHCI program, contact your AHS case manager directly.

questions

How does Compassion Network Home Care expertly match Clients with Caregivers?

Understanding Client Needs

At Compassion Network Home Care, we believe that every individual deserves care that is as unique as they are. Our first step in providing unparalleled home care service is a thorough understanding of our clients' needs. Through detailed assessments, we gather information about medical conditions, personal preferences, and lifestyle choices. This comprehensive profile serves as the cornerstone of our personalized care approach.

Caregiver Selection and Training

Our caregivers are the heart of our service. They are meticulously selected based on their professional qualifications, experience in healthcare, and, most importantly, their innate compassion and empathy. Each caregiver undergoes a strict vetting process, including a comprehensive background check. Our caregivers also undergo regular training, ensuring they are equipped not only to meet the diverse health needs of our clients but also to provide emotional and social support such as with dementia clients.

The Matching Process

The magic happens in the matching process. We pair clients with caregivers by aligning the client's profile with the caregiver's expertise and personality. This careful and considerate process ensures that our clients receive not just a healthcare professional but a companion, someone who truly understands and connects with them on a deeper level.

Ongoing Support and Reassessment

Our commitment to excellence doesn't stop at the match. We continually monitor and reassess the client-caregiver relationship to ensure it remains beneficial. Our team regularly checks in with both clients and caregivers, providing ongoing support and additional training as needed. This dynamic approach allows us to adapt to changing needs and maintain the highest standard of care.

The Impact of a Perfect Match

The results of a perfect match are profound. Clients report improved well-being, not just physically but emotionally and socially. Caregivers feel a sense of fulfillment, knowing they make a real difference in someone's life. Families can rest assured that their loved ones are in capable, caring hands. These successful partnerships often lead to lasting bonds, transforming the nature of home care into something truly special.

At Compassion Network Home Care, we go beyond the basics of health care. Our dedicated team is committed to creating matches that enrich the lives of our clients and caregivers alike. We invite you to experience the difference of a care service that truly understands and responds to your unique needs. Contact us today to learn more about our personalized approach to home care.
